Good people don't go to heaven; those who love Jesus do.

The world is messed up. Seriously messed up. People will go to bed tonight having not eaten anything all day, not through choice, but circumstance. In the USA and the UK, there is more news about shootings and stabbings everyday; the victims keep getting younger. We loose loved ones and it hurts. We get screwed up relationships, and it hurts. Depression is common in our society.

We all have issues; it's just that some of us are better at hiding them than others. The world is a messed up place.

It wasn't always like this. When God made the world, He made it perfect. There was no pain. There was no suffering. It was the way He planned it. He just wanted to Love us. We screwed up. It was only when we started doing bad stuff that bad stuff started happening in the world. And God watched a once perfect world become a place so messed up, you wouldn't recognise it. He still just wanted to Love us.

He made a plan. He threw a rope to drowning men. He sent Jesus.

Jesus came to this messed up world. He ate the food. He drank the water. He felt our pains. He was a prop for the messed up, at least the ones who came forward. He listened to those who just needed someone to listen. He shouted at those who were messing up the world. He was the way God planned it.

The world couldn't cope. We didn't know how to react. Some joined Him. Others mocked. Others became so proud that they killed Him. But that wasn't the end. It was the way God planned it.

For 3 days, He was dead, but didn't stay that way. God took what was dead and made life, and Jesus walked on the world again. He ate the food. He drank the water. He felt our pains.

God still takes what is dead and makes life. The world is dead and we are dieing, but Jesus gives life. Come and see.

The world is still a messed up place, but God doesn't leave us alone to try and cope by ourselves. Jesus can take the most twisted and messed up stuff we've ever done and turn it into something beautiful. God Loves us and wants us to Love Him. It was the way that He planned it. It doesn't make all our problems go away. It won't make us rich or give us everything we want. But I am messed up and I don't want to be, and neither does God. Come and see.

Jesus may have left the building, but He is coming back. What will He find?

I'm sorry that I am messed up
and I want to change.

Please take my messed up life
and turn it into something beautiful.
Please take the dead in me
and turn it into new life.
Please take me and make me new.

I want to know You, Lord Jesus.
Please help me to know You
and Love You with all of my life.

Thank You that you Love me and
please help me to truly know that Love.
